Whether the musical background or the political situation is responsible for the heavy sound distortion—even korberd can’t say for sure. Sometimes, hypnotic sounds are simply distorted. Besides, analog signals are perfect for overdriving them.
This track was released on March 27th, 2023 and mainly consists of the sequence Pink 8 from the Metropolix and the sequence Bank 8 Pattern 1 from the Mother 32. The sequence from the Mother 32 is beeing transferred to the DFAM. The atmosphere is a reflection of the Pink 8 sequence and is generated by the Rainmaker as usual.
This version of the track „Escape“ or sequence Bank 1 Pattern 3 from the Mother 32 is accompanied by the sequence Pink 7. Track 2 modulates track 1 from Metropolix up to 3:16 min. After that, the modulation source is coupled with the frequency of the Belgrad filter. This creates a characteristic coloration on the Mother 32’s distortion. At the end of this recording, the bass line is taken over by the DFAM.
This track is purely experimental and it’s all about the effects coming out of the Rainmaker. The Mother 32’s sequence is Bank 1 Pattern 1 and the Rainmaker’s preset is called II-V-I.
